Carlisle United have confirmed a new date for their home clash with MK Dons.

The original fixture on January 11 was postponed because of a frozen pitch after several days of sub-zero temperatures.

It will now be played on Tuesday, March 25 with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The new Brunton Park date will now mean a run of three consecutive home games at a potentially crucial period of United's survival bid under a new head coach.

The MK clash will come after successive Saturday home encounters with AFC Wimbledon and Bromley.

And the midweek game will precede an away trip to Doncaster Rovers.

MK Dons, under Mike Williamson's successor Scott Lindsey, currently sit 11th in League Two, 17 points above rock-bottom United.

Their squad includes the Carlisle-born Newcastle United loan midfielder Joe White.

United confirmed that tickets bought for the original game will be valid for the new date. For refunds, contact the ticket office on 03300945930.
